Quebec is a province that is of great importance to the Canadian identity as it is predominantly French-speaking. There are two primary cities in Quebec that vary greatly and are of interest to visitors. The first city is Montreal which is a diverse and cultural place. Among the sites to visit is Old Montreal and the Notre Dame Basilica, the Biodome, the Montreal Tower at Olympic Park, Mont Royal Park and St. Joseph's Oratory, and Schulich School of Music at McGill University for a clinic and/or tour. The other city is the oldest city in North America and a UNESCO World Heritage Site; Quebec City is picturesque and historic! Experience a walking tour of Old Quebec, the Maple Syrup Museum, the Citadel, Martel Towers, the Plains of Abraham, the Copper Museum, Sainte Anne de Beaupre Basilica, visit a Cabane a Sucre or the Huron Village, cruise on the St. Lawrence and see Montmorency Falls. While visiting Quebec, students will experience the unique culture and history of the province and will be able to enjoy activities that are quintessentially Quebecois.

Alberta has many destinations that are well worth visiting; among the highlights are Edmonton, Drumheller, Banff, Calgary and Red Deer. While famous for West Edmonton Mall, Edmonton has much more to offer including many educational programs and activities. Among Edmonton's other highlights are the Royal Alberta Museum, Telus World of Science and IMAX, Fort Edmonton, the Muttart Conservatory, a tour of the Legislature (with Scavenger Hunt) or the University of Alberta campus. Calgary is the other city that many tours elect to visit. There they visit the Calgary Tower, Telus World of Science, Calgary Zoo, Heritage Park Calgary, Calgary Olympic Park and Glenbow Museum. Calgary Philharmonic, musicals and dinner theatres are great evening options, or you may wish to go and see the Calgary Flames play hockey! Why not combine a city tour with a natural element as Canada is famous for its natural beauty? Banff is a popular option to combine with a Calgary tour. Banff is the gateway to the Rockies and we can include some unique guided tours such as Johnston's Canyon or a Traditional Living Skills class. Well known sights include the Sulphur Mountain Gondola, Whyte Museum, and the Banff Hot Springs. You may wish to add a day trip to Lake Louise and/or the Athabasca Glacier, or a day's skiing.

One of the oldest parts of Canada is the Maritime provinces as it is where not only early European settlers landed but where the Vikings arrived in the 10th century. These provinces are small in size, but great in history and sheer natural beauty. One of the benefits of their small land mass and close geographic location is that multiple destinations can be combined to create a true Maritime experience. Among these beautiful provinces are some fascinating cities such as Halifax known for its picturesque architecture and incredible music scene. In Halifax students can learn of early settlers, Canada's World War II involvement and the fateful journey of the Titanic. Another Maritime destination that is sure to interest students is L'Anse Aux Meadow in Newfoundland where the Vikings first settled in North America. Now a UNESCO heritage site there are remains of the settlement and a reconstruction so that students can feel that they have entered the time of Erik the Red over 1000 years ago. These are just two of the spectacular destinations in Canada's most eastern province which is home to, Charlottetown, Fredericton and St John's as well. Regardless of territory students are sure to enjoy any destination in the Maritimes.
