ITINERARY

 

Day 1: Arrival Day

  • Drive or fly to St John, the only city located on the shore of the Bay of Fundy and known for its historic uptown streetscapes, cultural attractions and natural wonders.
  • Welcome dinner.

Day 2: St John

  • Breakfast.
  • City guided tour of the historic architecture and charming atmosphere of Saint John.
  • Guided tour of the New Brunswick Museum, Canada’s oldest museum. Discover some of the province’s most impressive heritage in a program of your choice among the following topics:
    • Ocean Conservation; Geologic Processes; Fine Art; New Brunswick Occupations; Personalized Gallery Visit; Uptown St John Walking Tour.
  • Visit the Reversing Rapids, a tidal phenomenon and the meeting point between Bay of Fundy and the 700km-long St John River. Step out onto the Skywalk Saint John platform to enjoy an unhindered view of the Falls.
  • Group dinner.
  • Entrance to the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.

Day 3: St John – Fredericton

  • Breakfast.
  • Drive to Fredericton, New Brunswick’s capital, also known as the ‘city at the edge of nature. It is situated along the Saint John River, in the west-central portion of the province and is an important cultural, artistic and educational centre.
  • Guided city tour. Discover the local history of Fredericton and learn about the rich culture and riverside beauty!
  • Entrance to the East Science Centre. Take part in hands-on exhibits, shows and workshops on various scientific topics. Option to spend the overnight as part as an interactive program.
  • Ten pin bowling including pizza dinner or tickets to a Theatre Show.

Day 4: Fredericton – Moncton

  • Breakfast.
  • Guided tour of the Legislative Assembly Building, the democracy symbol in New Brunswick.
  • Drive to Moncton, the ever-growing “Hub City” lying in the center of the Maritime Provinces along the Petitcodiac River.
  • Stop at Fundy National Park and admire the incredible Hopewell Rocks, which stand 40-70 feet tall.
  • Group dinner.
  • Entrance to the Aquatic Center.

Day 5: Moncton – Shediac – Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

  • Breakfast.
  • Entrance to the Magnetic Hill Zoo, the largest zoo in Atlantic Canada.
  • Drive to Shediac, a little town recognized as "The Lobster Capital of the World" for its lobster fishing industry.
  • Guided tour of Shediac.
  • Time to take a photo with Shediac’s Giant Lobster, a statue made by the Canadian artist Winston Bronnum and renowned as the “World's Largest Lobster”.
  • Drive to Charlottetown, the charming capital and largest city of Prince Edward Island but still offering a small-town vibe.
  • Group dinner.

Day 6: Charlottetown

  • Breakfast.
  • Entrance to the Province House National Historic Site, the birthplace of Confederation and one of Charlottetown’s highlights.
  • Explore the stunning Prince Edward Island National Park.
  • Enjoy long sandy beaches, coastal cliffs, sand dunes and a wide range of wildlife!
  • Entrance to the Green Gables Heritage Place located in the park, a cultural landmark and part of L. M. Montgomery's Cavendish National Historic Site.
  • Discover the fishing village of North Rustico.
  • Farewell dinner.

Day 7: Departure from Charlottetown

  • Breakfast.
  • Drive or fly to home city.
