Located along the shores of Lake Michigan, the third most populated city in the USA is also the worldwide capital of modern architecture and a multicultural city. Chicago boasts a rich diversity of neighborhoods and cultural sights in various fields that will be inspirational and thought-provoking to students.

Educational highlights include the History Museum, the Field Museum – home to Sue the T-Rex! – and the Museum of Science and Industry. Learn about the city’s architecture during a guided cruise on the Chicago River, and attend a stunning Light Show at the Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain. Discover the Black American West Museum Heritage Centre, the Colorado Music Hall of Fame – where many famous musicians have performed –, and the historically one-of-a-kind Molly Brown House Museum. Florida is a destination that offers many opportunities for visiting students' groups as they can engage in the rich Latin cultures, experience wetland ecosystems, or visit amusement parks like Disney World. Among the most popular destinations in this state are Miami and Orlando, or even the Everglades National Park. Miami is a city that is known for its fusion of Latin cultures, predominately Cuban and Puerto Rican. Because of these cultures Miami offers an array of music, foods, art, and more that students can immerse themselves in. In addition to these opportunities Miami is also a city known for its beauty with an abundance of art deco styled buildings. Orlando also offers a lot to visiting students. There are several amusement parks that students can enjoy such as SeaWorld and Disney World. Both have many educational components, such as clinics with Disney musicians, and hands on engagement with marine ecosystems and animals. Florida is an excellent destination for groups hoping to escape the cold and learn about different cultures in the world they live in!

Experience the spirit of Aloha with a student tour of the famed Island of Oahu. New Mexico is a wonderful destination for student groups because it is such a unique and inspiring place. It stands alone in its culture, art and charm among the states as it is a true melting pot of native American, Latin and American culture. While on tour in this state, groups can visit two very interesting cities, Santa Fe and Albuquerque, which would provide perspective of the diversity of the state. In Santa Fe students can experience Latin culture through cooking classes or depending on the travel time a ghost tour for the Day of the Dead. Educational stops include the Bradbury Science Museum which hosts 60 interactive exhibits that trace the history of the WWII Manhattan Project. In charming Albuquerque depending on the travel time student might be able to experience the hot air balloon festival. Regardless though there is much to do in this city that is one of the oldest in America. Students can marvel at the atmosphere, visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and the National Hispanic Cultural Center. New Orleans is the birthplace of jazz and a mecca for many music genres. The largest city in Washington state, on the Northwest Coast of the United States, is an inviting place to learn and to have fun.

Nested beautifully at the Puget Sound, surrounded by both the Pacific Oceans and imposing mountains and forests, Seattle is famous for the ubiquitous gray clouds, the striking Space Needle and its neighboring Pop Culture museum (remember grunge? Seattle is its birthplace!). Other highlights include the Boeing factory, and the world-famous Pike Place Market with the curious king salmon throwers and tossers, specialty food stores, and the original, decades-old shop of a very famous coffee chain.

Seattle is undoubtedly both a prime destination and a starting point to discover more about American history, traditions, and culture.

Washington DC is the home of the powerful US government, as such it is an excellent destination for students to visit as it is hugely informative. The US government is a super power that affects the whole world and thus it is a great touring location for all sorts of course subjects from politics to civic to history. Along with the politically themed activities such as tours of the National Mall, war memorials, Library of Congress, etc. Washington offers other touring options such as the Smithsonian museums. The Smithsonian is a collective that makes up the American National museum, it is composed of eleven museums and galleries on the National Mall and six other museums and the National Zoo in the greater National Capital Area. This allows visiting groups to engage in the carefully curated collections of their course subject matter.
