ITINERARY

 

Day 1: Arrival Day -Paris

  • Make your own way to the airport for your flight to Paris.

Day 2: PARIS

  • Welcome to Paris! Use public transportation to reach Paris city centre (not included).
  • PARIS is the heart and centre of France. It offers endless possibilities for sightseeing, shopping and entertainment. If you stroll along the Champs Elysees and the Rue de Rivoli you will encounter numerous sights, the Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde, the Tuileries Gardens and the Louvre Museum.
  • Check into your accommodation and enjoy a stroll along the Seine.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: PARIS

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Start your first full day in Paris with a guided walking tour (3 hrs). This highlight tour will show you the must-see of the city: The Arc de Triumph, Notre Dame or the Eiffel Tower.
  • Afternoon free to explore Paris at your leisure.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4: PARIS

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Today, climb up the Eiffel Tower and enjoy the view! The tower is 323 meters high and was built between 1887 and 1889. It was built for the world exhibition and is a remainder of the French Revolution.
  • Afternoon entrance to the Mundolingua Museum. This museum offers an overview of the history and theory of language as well as new technologies and linguistic. Do you know all the languages of the world? Play a round of Scrabble or discover the role of language in World History.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5: PARIS

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • One of the most famous pictures of the world can be found in Paris - Mona Lisa by Leonardo DaVinci. Today you have time to explore the Louvre Museum. It is the world largest art museum and an important landmark of the city.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6: PARIS

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Today enjoy a half day excursion to Versailles to visit this beautiful landmark. Louis XIV of France, or also called Sun King, chose this beautiful palace as his main palace in 1661. Not only the building is famous but also the gardens around it.
  • Afternoon free to explore Paris at your leisure.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 7: PARIS - BARCELONA

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • After your last breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to France. Use public transportation to reach Paris airport (not included).
  • Morning flight to Barcelona. Use public transportation to reach Barcelona city centre.
  • BARCELONA, the capital of Catalunya and the second largest city in Spain, stretches along the Mediterranean shore between the hills of Montjuic, Vallvidrera and Tibidabo. It is a most attractive, stimulating city, especially from an architectural point of view. Barcelona is above all a Catalan town. In Barcelona, there are two official languages: Catalan and Castilian Spanish.
  • Afternoon free to explore Barcelona at your leisure.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 8: BARCELONA

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Start your day with a guided walking tour (3 hrs). This tour takes you around the city and includes places like Gaudi House, Placa Catalunya, World Trade Center and Olympic Ring.
  • In the afternoon visit the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. This museum shows the culture of Catalan. Famous paintings like Francisco de Goya - Allegory of Love, Cupid and Psyche or Isidre Nonell - La Paloma are on display at the museum.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 9: BARCELONA

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Morning visit to the Park Guell. The park system is composed of gardens and architectural elements designed by Gaudi. It is one of Spain's UNESCO World Heritage Sites and is a colourful spot in Barcelona.
  • Afternoon visit to one of the world-famous cathedrals. La Sagrada Familia is a Roman Catholic church, also designed by Antoni Gaudi. Construction started 1882 and will be finished in 2032. Participate in an educational program around the church.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 10: Departure Day

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Use public transportation to reach Barcelona airport (not included).
  • Fly from Barcelona to Home City.
