ITINERARY

 

Day 1: ARRIVAL TO ALBUQUERQUE

  • Fly from departure city to Albuquerque.
  • Welcome to ALBUQUERQUE, the largest city in New Mexico and one of the oldest in North America! You will discover a pulsating cultural scene by means of museums, permanent or temporary events as well as native food, to name only a few. Its year-round sunny weather also makes it appealing to travel to.
  • Upon arrival to Albuquerque airport, clear the customs and meet your private charter bus. Transfer to your hotel, check in and unload your luggage.
  • Afternoon visit to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, an interactive museum and cultural center exhibiting all kinds of North American art, from pottery to textile, jewellery and even native dance! You will be introduced to the Pueblo Indians' stories through stimulating and educational workshops and tours.
  • Welcome dinner at a local restaurant (optional).

Accommodation: Moderate hotel accommodation in the Albuquerque area - 2 nights.

Day 2: ALBUQUERQUE

  • Breakfast at your hotel.
  • Transfers by private charter bus today.
  • Morning walking tour of Albuquerque (availability dependant). You will learn all about the history of the "Duke City", but also the legends that helped shape its identity.
  • There will be time to purchase lunch after the tour (own expense).
  • Experience the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway this afternoon. Reach the Sandia Peak via this 15-minute ride (one way), while admiring the spectacular beauty of the canyons and fields above which you will be flying. OBS: temperatures at the peak can decrease significantly.
  • Afternoon activity specific to your group.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant (optional).
  • Transfer back to your accommodation and well-deserved time to relax.

Day 3: ALBUQUERQUE - SANTA FE

  • Breakfast at your hotel and check-out.
  • Transfers by private charter bus today.
  • Morning visit of the National Hispanic Cultural Center, another world-renowned establishment devoted to traditional arts, music and culture through more than 700 events. OBS: closed on Mondays.
  • There will be time to purchase lunch (own expense).
  • Drive from Albuquerque to Santa Fe.
  • The capital of New Mexico, SANTA FE encompasses a rich history, culture and untouched traditions relating to the native American Indians. It is also renowned for its colorful art markets spread all over the city in summer.
  • Upon arrival to Santa Fe, you will have some free time at your leisure walking around the Old Plaza. You will then walk up Canyon Road, where you will be able to visit 25 different art galleries.
  • Transfer from the Old Plaza to your accommodation. Check in and unload your luggage.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant (optional).
  • Transfer back to your accommodation.

Accommodation: Moderate hotel accommodation in Santa Fe - 2 nights.

Day 4: SANTA FE

  • Breakfast at your hotel.
  • Transfers by private charter bus today.
  • Transfer to Los Alamos (approx. 1 hour).
  • Entrance and guided tour to the Bradbury Science Museum. Through educational and interactive programs, you will follow the steps of the Manhattan Project during World Word II and get introduced to the laboratory's present research work about defense and technology.
  • Transfer back to Santa Fe. There will be time to purchase lunch (own expense).
  • Take part in an interactive cooking class this afternoon. Enjoy a rich and delicious Mexican dinner prepared by yourselves tonight!
  • Evening Ghost Walk Tour after dinner. You will have the privilege to hear some of the daunting stories throughout history that have not been made public - shivers guaranteed!
  • Transfer back to your accommodation.

Day 5: DEPARTURE FROM SANTA FE
