ITINERARY

 

Day 1: Departure Day

  • Fly from departure city to Montréal.

Day 2: ARRIVAL TO MONTREAL

  • Upon arrival to Montréal clear customs and meet your Tour Manager who will escort you to your waiting private coach.
  • Montréal is the largest city in Québec. Predominantly French-speaking, it is set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mt. Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart. Its 19 boroughs, many of which were once independent cities, include neighbourhoods from cobblestoned, French colonial Vieux-Montréal - with imposing Notre-Dame Basilica at its center - to industrial Sud-Ouest and artist-friendly Plateau.
  • Visit to the National Gallery.
  • Afternoon entrance to the Olympic Tower. At 165 meters, the Montréal Tower is the tallest inclined tower in the world! Its 45-degree angle is awe-inspiring, especially when you consider that the Leaning Tower of Pisa's tilt is only 5 degrees! From its summit, visitors can admire the entire Greater Montreal region and up to 80 kilometers of the St. Lawrence River valley.
  • Transfer to your hotel, check-in and unload your luggage.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: MONTREAL

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Transfers by private charter bus today.
  • Morning walking tour of Old Montreal including entrance to the Notre Dame Cathedral, which is one of the "crown jewels" in Quebec's rich religious heritage.
  • There will be time to purchase lunch.
  • Afternoon entrance to Pointe-à-Callière Museum. The museum is a recognized national historical and archaeological site, leads visitors through centuries of history, from the times when Natives camped here to the present day.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Evening haunted Montreal walk.

Day 4: MONTREAL

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Transfers by private charter bus today.
  • Morning performance at a local elementary school.
  • There will be time to purchase lunch along Ste Catherine Street for example - enjoy this largest stretch of retail stores in Canada!
  • Afternoon visit of the Botanical Gardens.
  • Dinner and musical show at Festin du Governeur or the Caberet du Roy.

Day 5: MONTREAL

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Morning walk to Mont-Royal neighbourhood for a self-guided or guided tour. The laid-back Plateau area is known as a young, student-friendly neighbourhood with streets full of charming townhouses. Avenue du Mont-Royal and Rue Saint-Denis are lined with casual cafes, laid-back eateries, busy bars, and contemporary galleries and theatres.
  • There will be time to purchase lunch.
  • Early afternoon performance at a local elementary school.
  • Evening ten pin bowling with pizza dinner.

Day 6: MONTREAL - OTTAWA

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Private charter bus from Montreal to Ottawa (approx. 3 hours) with a stop at the Mount Royal Lookout (drive approx. 2.5 hours).
  • The capital city of Canada, Ottawa is located in Ontario at the Quebec border - you will hear both English and French spoken in the streets. This dynamic city showcases Canada's proud heritage and is well-known for its vibrant cultural scene.
  • There will be time to purchase lunch on route to Ottawa.
  • Afternoon entrance to Canadian War Museum.
  • There will be some free time to explore the city this afternoon - you may wish to take part in a guided bike or walking tour (additional expense).
  • Dinner at a local restaurant within walking distance of your hotel.
  • Transfer to your hotel, check-in and unload your luggage.

Accommodation: Moderate accommodation in Ottawa - 3 nights.

Day 7: OTTAWA

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Transfers by private charter bus today.
  • Morning tour of the Parliament Buildings - Please note this is schedule dependent.
  • Public performance outside on Parliament Hill (if permitted & weather permitting).
  • The Rideau Shopping Centre is a short walk from Parliament Hill, where there will be time to purchase lunch.
  • Afternoon tour of Rideau Hall - The residence of the Governor General.
  • You will spend some time at the Byward Market.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.
  • After dinner, enjoy the atmospheric 'Ghost and the Gallows' Walking Tour.

Day 8: OTTAWA

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Morning entrance to the Canadian Museum of History.
  • There will be time to purchase lunch.
  • Afternoon elementary school performance.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Evening musical theatre performance such as "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" (availability dependant).

Day 9: OTTAWA - TORONTO

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Toronto is the capital city of Ontario and the largest city in Canada by population. A leading tourism destination, it is also the most multiculturally diverse city worldwide with over 140 languages spoken! This global city is a centre of business, finance, arts and culture.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Entrance to the CN Tower after dinner.
  • Transfer to your hotel, check-in and unload your luggage.

Accommodation: Moderate accommodation in Toronto - 4 nights.

Day 10: TORONTO

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Transfers by private charter bus today.
  • Morning concert band clinic with a University clinician.
  • There will be time to purchase lunch.
  • Early afternoon Chorus performance at a local elementary school.
  • Afternoon entrance to the Royal Ontario Museum.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Evening shopping time at the Eaton Centre Mall in Toronto.

Day 11: TORONTO - CANADA'S WONDERLAND

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Transfer to Canada's Wonderland by your private charter bus. Your bus will remain at Canada’s Wonderland for the day so that you can store your equipment.
  • Spend the day at Canada's Wonderland and attend the Festival of Music.
  • There will be time to purchase lunch while at Canada's Wonderland.
  • Dinner at your own arrangements in Canada's Wonderland.

Day 12: TORONTO - NIAGARA FALLS

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Transfer by private charter bus to Niagara Falls including the "Maid of the Mist" boat ride and a stop in Niagara-on-the Lake.
  • There will be time to purchase lunch.
  • Afternoon performance at Niagara Falls (subject to availability).
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.
  • Transfer by private charter bus back to Toronto.

Day 13: DEPARTURE FROM TORONTO

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Fly back from Toronto to home city.
