ITINERARY

 

Day 1: Departure Day

  • Fly from departure city to Rome

Day 2: Arrive-Rome

  • On arrival you will be met by your tour director/guide and transferred to central Rome. Your tour director will be with you throughout your tour in Italy.
  • Afternoon guided walking tour (3 hours) including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and entrance to the Colosseum.
  • Dinner at your hotel.

Accommodation: Moderate centrally located hotel (3 star) - 3 nights

Day 3: Rome

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Morning audio tour of the Vatican Museum including the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica (3 hours).
  • Activity specific to your group
  • Dinner at the Local Restaurant.

Day 4: Rome- Day trip to Pompei

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Bus from Rome to Pompeii.
  • Guided walking tour of Pompeii ruins.
  • No dinner included tonight as you can purchase it on your way back from Pompeii.

Day 5: Rome/Assisi/Florence

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Private charter bus from Naples to the medieval town of Assisi (approx. 5 hours).
  • Guided tour of the Basilica of San Francesco.
  • Continue on to Florence (approx. 3 hours)
  • Dinner is not included - this can be purchased during a stop on the way to Florence as you will not arrive until after dinner time.

Accommodation: Moderate centrally located hotel (3 star) - 2 nights

Day 6: Florence

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Morning guided walking tour - you will see Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, Gates of Paradise, Giotto's Bell Tower and the Duomo. (Entrances not included)
  • Entrance is included to the Uffizi Gallery - this has one of the most important collections of Renaissance art.
  • Continue on to Florence (approx. 3 hours)
  • Time free in the afternoon for shopping at the local markets and Via Nazionale.
  • Activity specific to your group
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 7: Florence/Pisa/Venice

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Morning drive from Florence to Pisa (approx 2 hours).
  • Guided tour and entrance to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
  • Afternoon drive from Pisa to Venice (approx. 3 hours).
  • Dinner is not included - this can be purchased during a stop on the way to Venice as you will not arrive until after dinner time.

Accommodation: Moderate hotel near Venice - 3 nights

Day 8: Venice

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Guided walking tour of Venice including St Mark's Square, Basilica, and the Bridge of Sighs.
  • Activity specific to your group
  • Dinner at your own arrangements.

Day 9: Venice

  • Breakfast at your accommodation.
  • Entrance to Doges' Palace in the morning.
  • Afternoon boat trip to Murano where you will visit a glass factory and see a display of Venetian glass being made.
  • The remainder of the day will be at leisure.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 10: Departure from Venice

  • Fly from Venice to home city.
