Day 1: Departure Day

  • On arrival in Honolulu you will be met by an Educational World Tours representative and transferred to your hotel by private charter bus
  • Dinner at your hotel or local restaurant

Accommodation: Moderate hotel accommodation in the Honolulu - 4 nights

Day 2: Honolulu

  • Breakfast at your hotel.
  • Transfer to the University of Hawaii.
  • Either an activity specific to your group (music clinic) or a Tour of the university.
  • Depart on a circle island drive by private charter bus including a stop at the Dole plantation, a visit to Waimea Bay and Nuuanu Pali Lookout.
  • There will be time to purchase lunch at the Dole Plantation.
  • Drop off at the Polynesian Cultural Centre where the afternoon will be spent experiencing the villages and learning more about the culture of the Pacific Islands. Your charter buses will leave you.
  • Hale Aloha Luau Dinner includes admission to seven villages.
  • Evening show - "Ha - Breath of Life". Transfer back to your hotel by two private charter buses.

Day 3: Honolulu - Day trip to Oahu

  • Breakfast at your hotel.
  • Transfer to Pearl Harbour charter bus where entrance to the USS Missouri and the Arizona Memorial.
  • Pearl harbour is the most famous site in the USA as it is the infamous location of the Japanese attack on US soil that led the US to joining the war. In addition to changing the course of the war thousands of American sailors and pilots lost their lives at the site. Due to these events Pearl Harbour has since been memorialized into a powerful outdoor museum. Visitors have the opportunity to Stroll the decks of battleships and see the fighter planes that took flight to combat the Japanese Bombers.
  • There will be free time to purchase lunch.
  • Afternoon tour to the Punchbowl and the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. This this the site of the final resting place for the Thousands of American service members who gave their lives in the service of their country. It is known locally as the Punchbowl as it is set inside a crater to allow for a calm and serene atmosphere.
  • Dinner at your hotel or local restaurant.

Day 4: Honolulu

  • Breakfast at your hotel.
  • Your private charter buses will arrive at your hotel.
  • Transfer to Diamond Head by charter buses.
  • There will be free time to purchase lunch.
  • Walk up Diamond Head to see the views of Honolulu.
  • ***This morning/ afternoon there are several options for Activities:
    • Option 1:
      • After your walk transfer to Secret Island
      • On arrival it is a short boat ride to Secret Island Beach for a fun filled afternoon at the beach - you may wish to enjoy kayaking, canoe riding, stand up paddle boarding, beach volleyball, table tennis, horseshoes or a ride on our glass bottom boat. One lifeguard is provided.
      • Aunty Pat’s buffet lunch will be served while you are at the island.

    • Option 2:
      • Manoa Falls Trail
      • Hawaii is an Island that is famous for its beauty and this hike of the Manoa Falls Trail highlights this fact. It is a gorgeous hike through the rainforest that is favoured by former president Obama.
      • There will be time to purchase lunch after the hike.

    • Option 3:
      • Hike to a wrecked heavy bomber. This beautiful hike allows visitors to engage in the beautiful natural world of Hawaii as well as experience some history of the island. During this hike visitors will see pieces of a wrecked B-24J Liberator whose remains lay in the overgrowth just off the path of the beautiful 4.8-mile Aiea Loop Trail on Oahu. There is a memorial to this tragic accident where the crew member crew lost their lives at 5:22 a.m. on May 5, 1944, a crew of 10 took off from Hickam Air Force Base, headed to Australia on a replacement mission.
      • Afternoon free time in Waikiki.
  • Afternoon free time in Waikiki.
  • This time can be used to enjoy the town or the lovely Waikiki beach.
  • Dinner at your hotel or local restaurant.

Day 5: Honolulu - Day trip to Oahu

  • Breakfast at your hotel.
  • Check out of your hotel and store your luggage.
  • Transfer to the USS Bowfinn Museum and Park.
  • The USS Bowfin is one of the 15 surviving WWII submarines that did not become scrap metal or as target practice. It has now become a Museum & Park that's goal is to educate visitors about the reality of the U.S. Submarine Force, past and present.
  • There will be time to purchase dinner nearby the hotel prior to your transfer to the airport.
  • Meet in the lobby of the hotel to load your equipment onto your charter buses.
  • Transfer from your hotel to the airport by private charter bus.
