ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival Day

Drive of fly to Washington, DC, the U.S. capital and defined by imposing neoclassical monuments and buildings, including the iconic ones that house the federal government’s 3 branches: The Capitol, White House and Supreme Court. It is also home to notorious museums and performing-arts venues.
Evening free to discover the neighborhood of Georgetown, a charming neighborhood with old architecture and cobblestone streets.
Welcome dinner.

Day 2: Washington DC

Breakfast.
Guided walking tour of the National Mall. Discover the National World War II Memorial, Korean War and Vietnam Veterans Memorials, Abraham Lincoln Memorial with a view of George Washington Monument.
Guided tour of the Library of Congress, the oldest federal cultural institution in the country.
Entrance to the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. Discover the various American advancements in science, culture, technology and politics.
Group Dinner.

Day 3: Washington DC

Breakfast.
Guided walking tour of the White House. You will see the East Wing, the China Room, and a view of the White House Rose Garden.
Entrance to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Explore the exhibits and large collection of 140 million-plus natural science specimens and cultural artifacts.
Entrance to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Learn about this period of history though documentations, studies, and interpretations.
Group dinner.

Day 4: Washington DC

Breakfast.
Tour of Arlington National Cemetery on an open-air tram (hop-on/hop-off). Among other sites (6 to 9 stops total), you will see the Kennedy Gravesites, the Tomb of the Unknowns and the Robert E. Lee Memorial.
Guided tour of the Capitol Building. You will see the Crypt, the Rotunda, and the National Statuary Hall.
Entrance to the National Gallery of Art and its Art Sculpture Garden. Discover a vast collection of paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures and forms of new media all the way from the Middle Ages.
Farewell dinner.
Evening show in one of DC’s iconic theatres.

Day 5: Departure Day

Breakfast.
Entrance to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, which features the largest collection of spacecraft and historic air worldwide.
Fly or drive to your home city.
