Greetings, educators! The US Southern States, especially Tennessee and Louisiana, are undoubtedly a great resource for educational experiences in different fields of teaching. For instance, the Southern musical rhythms like bluegrass and blues are the predecessors of our contemporaries' R&B, jazz, and even rock'n'roll; these rhythms were the translation of Southern peoples and societies, an outlet for their history, culture, mindset. We want you to explore this heritage while making some noise, enjoying authentic workshops, engaging in interactive experiences, and putting into perspective the lives and history of the individuals that played an important role in creating a truly American identity. |
Nashville |
Nicknamed "The Music City", Nashville is the main destination for music enthusiasts, especially country music fans. Starting with the iconic Grand Ole Opry, that is since 1925 the home of the longest-running radio show in the US, where you can not just attend a concert but also a backstage tour to revisit some of the greatest authors and personas of the past, present, and future of country music. |
Memphis |
A beautiful, sophisticated Southern town that is known as the "Birthplace of rock'n'roll", the "Home of Blues", jazz, R&B, rap, and soul. Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, BB King, and more recorded famous albums in Memphis.

New Orleans |
Louisiana's most coveted destination, "Nawlins" offers not just its notorious Mardi Gras parades but also a lot of history, a distinctive cuisine, multi-coloured festivals, and unique museums. Starting with Mardi Grass World, the pavilion where the colourful floats are created and built for the annual Fat Tuesday parade. This attraction also offers team-building experiences, like a mask-making workshop or mini float building. |
