Depart from your hometown and fly to Madrid

Morning/Afternoon: Arrival at Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD). Welcomed by a guide/driver, then transferred to the hotel.

Late Afternoon: Check-in and time to rest.

• Time permitting - Mass at a local church.

Evening: Welcome Dinner at your hotel or at a local Spanish restaurant near your hotel, introducing you to Spanish cuisine.

• Breakfast at your hotel and check out. 

Morning (Madrid): Sightseeing Tour: Focus on the city center. Visit Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and Cibeles Square, and view the Royal Palace (exterior). Conclude the morning with a stroll through Parque del Retiro.

Lunch: Free time for lunch near the Gran Vía or the hotel.

Afternoon (Art/Leisure): Option 1 (Culture): Visit the Prado Museum (focus on Spanish Masters). Option 2 (Leisure): Free time for shopping/exploration on the Gran Vía.

Late Afternoon: Check-out and departure for Toledo (approx. 1-hour drive).

• Mass at a local church

Evening: Check-in at Toledo hotel.

Dinner and an initial walk around the illuminated historic center.

Breakfast at your hotel and check out. 

Morning (Guadalupe): Drive from Toledo to Guadalupe (approx. 2 hours). Visit the Royal Monastery of Santa María de Guadalupe (UNESCO World Heritage), including the Sanctuary dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Monastery, and the Basilica.

Lunch: at your own arrangments.

Afternoon (Ávila): Drive to Ávila (approx. 2.5 hours).

Late Afternoon/Evening (Ávila): Check-in. Walk along the magnificent Walls of Ávila (UNESCO) at sunset for spectacular views.

Dinner in the walled city.

Breakfast at your hotel and check out. 

Morning (Ávila): Visit the key places connected to Saint Theresa of Ávila: the Convent and Museum of Santa Teresa (former house) and the Basilica of San Vicente.

Late Morning (Alba de Tormes): Short drive to Alba de Tormes (approx. 30 minutes). Visit the Convent of the Annunciation, where Saint Theresa is buried.

Lunch: Lunch break in Alba de Tormes at your arrangements.

Afternoon (Salamanca): Drive to Salamanca (approx. 30 minutes).

Late Afternoon (Salamanca): Initial visit to the Plaza Mayor and the area around the University of Salamanca.

• Dinner at your hotel or local restaurant.

Breakfast at your hotel and check out. 

Morning (Salamanca): Free Time/Sightseeing: Explore the historic center, focusing on the University of Salamanca (façade) and the New and Old Cathedrals.

Lunch: Lunch in Salamanca at your own arrangements.

Afternoon (Burgos): Departure for Burgos (approx. 3 hours drive)

Late Afternoon (Burgos): Check-in. Guided visit to the spectacular Burgos Cathedral (UNESCO World Heritage), a masterpiece of Spanish Gothic architecture.

• Dinner at your hotel or local restaurant.

Breakfast at your hotel and check out. 

Morning (Burgos): Short continuation of Burgos sightseeing or free time.

Mid-Morning: Drive north towards the Basque Country and the coast.

Lunch: Lunch near Bilbao or San Sebastián at your own arrangements (Optional brief stop to see the exterior of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao).

• Afternoon (Loyola): Drive to the Sanctuary of Loyola (approx. 2.5 hours total driving from Burgos). Visit the monumental Basilica and the tower house where St. Ignatius of Loyola was born.
• Mass at a local church
• Dinner at your hotel or local restaurant.

Breakfast at your hotel and check out. 

Morning: Scenic drive from the North Coast area to Zaragoza (approx. 3.5 - 4 hours).

Lunch: Lunch upon arrival in Zaragoza at your arrangements.

Afternoon (Zaragoza): Visit the centrepiece of the city: the magnificent Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar (Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar).

Late Afternoon: Tour the historic center, including the Puente de Piedra for views of the Basilica and the La Seo Cathedral.

• Dinner at your hotel or local restaurant.

Breakfast at your hotel and check out. 

Morning (Montserrat): Departure for Montserrat (approx. 2.5 hours drive). This places the visit directly en route to Barcelona.

Visit: Take the rack railway/cable car up the mountain to the Montserrat Monastery. Visit the site, the Basilica, and venerate the Black Madonna (La Moreneta).

Lunch: Lunch at the Montserrat complex or nearby.

Afternoon (Barcelona): Drive to Barcelona (approx. 1 hour).

Late Afternoon: Panoramic tour of Barcelona, including views from Montjuïc or Tibidabo, before check-in.

Evening: Traditional Catalan Dinner in Barcelona.

Breakfast at your hotel. 

Morning (Gaudí): Focus on the work of Antoni Gaudí. Guided interior visit of the Sagrada Família (pre-booked tickets essential). View Casa Batlló and La Pedrera (exterior).

Late Morning: Explore the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic).

Lunch: Free time for lunch and exploration along La Rambla.

Afternoon: Free time for souvenir shopping or a final coffee/rest.
