ITINERARY

 

Day 1: Departure

Meet at the home city airport.

Board your flight to Vilnius (a connection may be required).

Overnight on board.

Day 2: Vilnius

Upon arrival at Vilnius Airport, the group is met by the local assistant and transferred to the hotel.

Check in and time to rest after the journey.

Dinner is served at the hotel, followed by an evening at leisure to settle in and enjoy the charming ambience of Lithuania’s capital.

Day 3: Vilnius - Trakai

Breakfast at your accommodation.

Historic Vilnius & Traditional Karaite Cuisine

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Vilnius Old Town, exploring its narrow medieval streets, elegant squares, and major churches. A visit to the Vilnius University Bell Tower offers beautiful views over the city’s rooftops.

Lunch at your arrangements.

In the afternoon, the journey continues to the picturesque lake district of Trakai, the medieval residence of Lithuanian Grand Dukes. Visit Trakai Island Castle, set on an island and connected by wooden bridges, with time to explore both the exterior and interior.

A highlight of the day is the Kibinai Master Class, where the group learns to make traditional Karaite pastries, followed by a tasting of the freshly baked results.

Return to Vilnius for dinner at the hotel and overnight.

Day 4: Vilnius - Riga

Breakfast at your accommodation and check out.

After breakfast, depart Vilnius and drive north to one of Lithuania's most symbolic sites: the Hill of Crosses

This extraordinary place features tens of thousands of crosses placed by visitors from around the world — a powerful symbol of faith, resilience and national identity.

Continue to Latvia to visit the magnificent Rundale Palace. Enjoy a guided tour through its lavish Baroque and Rococo halls, followed by a walk through the beautifully restored gardens.

Arrive in Riga in the evening.

Check in and dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: Riga

Breakfast at your accommodation.

Begin the day with a guided tour of Riga Old Town, discovering its medieval streets, Town Hall Square, the Swedish Gate and the city’s striking Art Nouveau heritage.

Lunch at your arrangements. 

Later, the group attends an organ concert at Riga Dome Cathedral, home to one of the world’s most historic and powerful organs — an unforgettable musical experience.

In the evening, enjoy a festive Dinner with a Folk Show, featuring traditional Latvian music, costumes and dancing.

Opera Backstage & Cultural Options

The morning is left open for optional activities, allowing participants to tailor the day to their interests. Suggestions include:

• Visit to the Latvian National Museum of Art

• A guided tasting experience at Riga Central Market

• A relaxing canal boat ride around the historic centre

Lunch at your arrangements. 

In the afternoon, enjoy an exceptional behind-the-scenes experience: a Backstage Tour of the Latvian National Opera, revealing the artistic and technical world that supports the performers. The visit concludes with a glass of sparkling wine.

Dinner at the hotel or a local restaurant in the Old Town.

Day 7: Riga - Sigulda - Tallinn

Breakfast at your accommodation and check out.

Depart Riga and travel into the scenic landscape of the Gauja Valley, often called the “Latvian Switzerland”. Visit the Turaida Museum Reserve, including its medieval red-brick castle, charming church, sculpture park and panoramic views.

A short stop in Sigulda allows time for photographs or a visit to a local crafts or tasting spot.

Continue the journey north into Estonia, arriving in Tallinn in the evening.

Check in and dinner at the hotel.

Day 8: Tallinn & Kadriorg

Breakfast at your accommodation. 

After breakfast, enjoy a guided Tallinn Old Town walking tour, exploring both the Upper Town — with its castle walls and viewpoints — and the Lower Town with its Hanseatic streets, merchants’ houses and medieval charm.

Lunch at your arrangements. 

In the afternoon, visit the elegant Kadriorg Palace & Art Museum, built by Peter the Great for Catherine I. The guided tour includes the palace’s richly decorated interiors and the surrounding gardens.

In the evening, the group gathers for a Farewell Dinner to celebrate the final night of the Baltic journey.
